On May 14, 2014, Delaware County Council, along with the Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA), will host their annual Centenarian Luncheon. This will be the 12th year for this event and is always one of the highlights of the year. Anyone turning 100 or older in 2014 is welcome to attend this luncheon at the Drexelbrook Banquet Center.
Last year, we had 47 centenarians attend the luncheon and COSA visited 25 additional centenarians in the community.
Centenarians and one guest are admitted for free. Additional guests may purchase tickets for $25.00 each. Guests also receive a commemorative photo from the day along with a special proclamation from Delaware County Council.
The organization or facility that brings the most centenarians to the luncheon will receive a prize.
